The Yankees 2nd Spring Training Game

The New York Yankees played on February 23rd where they played the Tampa Bay Rays in Dunedin Florida. It was played in TD Ballpark where the Rays hosted the Yanks. The game was played under partly cloudy skies with a nice temperature of 80 degrees throughout the night. The Yanks took a early 1-0 in the top of the second when the runner on first came all the way around to score on a double by Amburgey. The Rays came back in the bottom half of the inning to tie it back up at 1 a piece with 2 singles to make it a first and third situation. Kiermaier would later hit a grounder to 2nd scoring the run from third. Two more runs would score later in the inning with a bloop single and a wild pitch to make it a 3-1 lead by the Rays. The Yankees would later rally back in the 5th inning with a homerun by Andujar. As well as a double, single, and an error to tie it back up 3-3 in the 6th. As well as a couple more singles and errors to make it a 6-3 lead Yanks in the 6th. The Rays would make a comeback scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th. The Yanks would score a run in the top of the 7th to make it 7-5. The Rays would also a run in the bottom of the 7th with bloop singles. Would lead to that with 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th to have the Rays leading 9-7. The Rays would end up winning the game 9-7. The Yankees record moved to 0-2.
