The New York Yankees are not a regular team like most they come with some of the best rotations against every team possible. You can’t win games if you can’t figure out how every team plays. Both there lineup when batting and on the field gameplay the Yankees are one of the best when it comes to this sort of thing. The way they are able to hit little bloopers and move each other from base to base is like no other. As well as the way they are able to shift there team in the infield and outfield makes them so successful and almost impossible to get a hit against. It is no wonder why there win percentage is so high when they rob almost everyone of a hit all the time. It’s also almost unbelievable that they can do this with making little to no errors in a single game. It happens once in awhile but most of the time they are able to trap it and throw the guy out without hesitating. With baseball just around the corner all teams are getting ready to start playing so the Yankees have to be on there game. This year will be no problem for them and they will do just as good as last year and maybe better with all the fresh new people that will be coming up from triple-A. This will be there year will they be able to do it and bring home another championship? We will find out this year.
Why Joe Girardi Should’ve Stayed With the Yankees
Joe Girardi was in the MLB for 15 years playing as a catcher for teams like the Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies, New York Yankees, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Joe was a fantastic player and an even better one during the 1990s when he was with the Yankees. During those years he won 3 World Series rings and served as a catcher for both Dwight Gooden’s no hitter and David Cone’s perfect game. Sometimes it wasn’t his playing that he should’ve stayed with the Yankees for it was when he became a manager during the 2008 season. He was the Yankees manager from 2008 all the way until 2017. While he only won one American League championship and one World Series title he had many seasons where his winning percentage was over .500, and it wasn´t by a little bit it was sometimes way over .500. He was as great as many said and people were amazed when he was fired, but everything happens for a reason and there isn’t anything Joe could have done to stop it. It was because he wasn’t close enough with the players for the reasons why he was fired, but after being there manager for 10 years there had to be more of a reason than being because he wasn’t close enough with them. When he finished he had 988 wins and 794 losses after his 10 seasons with the Yankees. By looking at all of his stats this is why Joe Girardi should´ve stayed the head manager for the New York Yankees.
Yankees Prospects and Who To Choose
The New York Yankees have more than 100 prospects that they look at every single year, so how do they decide who to bring up? To decide who to bring up the New York Yankees need to know every last thing about the prospects even including how they did in school to knowing if they have gotten in any trouble and if so how much. All these things are very important in knowing who to bring up since there a limited amount of spots to fill every year. The most important parts that they look at is there stats throughout the year and they understand that it is very different for every person but it is much more than that. They look at all positions too including infielders, outfielders, catchers, and pitchers. They look to see if they hustle on the field or if they are more of a laid back person who thinks they are ¨all that¨. So much goes into choosing each player because the Yankees want the best of the best to show how good their team is when they bring up a young player. They want somebody who knows how to play the game who is moving at all times ready for the ball to come to them or hit the pitch that is right down the middle. When prospects get looked at they will focus mostly on there batting average, walks, homeruns, RBI´s, WAR, etc. all this helps them to zero in on who they want to join there team.
Yankees History
The New York Yankees are an American Major League Baseball team that play in New York City borough of the Bronx.Their organization changed 3 times first starting in the year 1901 as the Baltimore Orioles and then later changing to the New York Highlanders. This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.
You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
- Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
- Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
- Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
- What topics do you think you’ll write about?
- Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
- If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
